Restaurant Exclusives

Some of our best innovations have been built for restaurants.

Whether this is your 1st independent restaurant or your 1000th franchise location, the competition doesn’t get any easier. The hard truth is that, regardless of brand, more restaurants fail than succeed. You need every advantage you can get to beat those odds. Aeris gives you that advantage.

Self Assist

Ever wonder why drive thrus have barely changed in 40 years? So have we.  We've seen how call centers can cut down on labor costs through catering and customer service centers. What if someone on a computer could help someone with their drive thru order? It would mean fewer hours at the restaurant, and because you can share a call center across several locations and brands, you'll save money overall too. We can also have a video pop up on-screen of the call center employee, as well as have them assist the customer with crafting the perfect order.

Self Order

Join the self order revolution. With labor costs on the rise, restaurants are doing everything in their power to compete in the marketplace and still make a profit. The solution? Let an employee assist customers to place their own order. Most people will be fine plugging in their orders, and you still have a warm body there for questions, assistance, and to ensure orders go in smoothly.

Delivery

Are delivery drivers your bread and butter? We've got you covered. Aeris POS systems incorporate frequent customer data, maps, and interface with online ordering to deliver the best delivery product you've ever seen. Your drivers will be excited to come into work, knowing they won't waste gas and time trying to find customers' homes on their own.

Drive Thru

Let your drive-up customers take the reins on their own ordering. Our shaded touch screen outdoor kiosks make it simple for anyone to put in an order speedily and efficiently. If they run into any issues, they can ask for help, and we have several solutions to assist them in crafting the perfect order.

From Health Affairs Policy Brief, HealthAffairs.org

July 13, 2015

Consumers are becoming more health conscious. Almost all food service establishments today offer healthy choices for their customers. By December, 2016 the U.S. Food and Drug Administration is requiring all restaurants with 20 or more locations to post nutritional information for their customers. In these new guidelines, each menu item must have its calories posted in plain sight, and other nutrition information must be made available to customers upon request.

Aeris POS Does the Hard Work For You

In our point of sale software, nutrition analysis can be calculated two ways — whatever's easiest for you. Our perpetual inventory tracks your raw product usage then calculates each recipes calories value for you. However, if your recipes are updated frequently, we've also included a manual label field to specify each menu item's calories as well.

Both Nutrition Analysis options can be posted to a customer viewable website, easily made available for all your customers to quickly pull up on their phone while waiting in line. Nutrition information can also be sent to  frequent customers who are interested in tracking their personal consumption.

Perpetual Inventory (the hard way)

  • Based on bulk nutritional value of raw products
  • Reduced to Recipe based on Menu item

Advantage – Recipes are updated when changes are updated to raw products

Manual Label fields (the easy way)

  • Fill in the blank menu item values

Advantage – Quick entry, far less complicated than perpetual inventory
